Due to the current high volume of demand, and the desire to accelerate delivery of projects within this huge global eCommerce business, we are looking to resource a Senior Infrastructure IT Project Manager into their team on a 6 month contract. The business is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey and the role is paying up-to £500 per day (outside IR35).

The Senior Infrastructure IT Project Manager will initiate, create and progress Business Cases in line with prevailing company standards, best practice and guidance. Along with owning, leading and managing the planning, initiation, delivery and closure of projects, ensuring that the projects are delivered to time, to budget and to quality standards.

The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager will be working on projects that include:

1. Data Centre consolidation – there is an RFP in progress for Hyperconverged (Infrastructure as Cloud, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker) Private cloud, looking to consolidate 7 DC’s into 2 plus public Cloud (ultimately Hybrid) – ideally we need someone with a track record in this area.
2. Public Cloud migrations
3. O365 Tenant Merge
4. BAU Technical Debt remediation – Networks, VMWare, Windows, Linux, DC Rack consolidations/remediation
5. Desktop rollout

1. Full cycle Business Case delivery
2. Business and Technology Benefits identification
3. 3rd Party Vendor engagement and management
4. Manage virtual high-performing project teams
5. Deliver a high quality of Project Management of IT projects within the dnata Project Management Framework
6. Ensure that projects are initiated correctly and within the delivery framework governance model

You will need a demonstrable track record of managing and delivering IT business cases and projects within an Infrastructure focused environment and ideally be an accredited AgilePM Practitioner (or equivalent e.g. APMP or PMI PMP qualification) or demonstrable experience of applying this methodology to the delivery of projects.
