Danny Wrigglesworth is the Managing Director and Founder of djr.

With a wealth of experience in tech recruitment since the mid-1990s, Danny has worked with some of the biggest names across the UK and Europe, from innovative start-ups to FTSE 100 leaders.

Danny’s approach has always been about building strong, honest relationships – the same values that form the foundation of djr. He’s the one steering our strategy and ensuring we execute it with the help of our incredibly talented team.

When he’s not leading the charge at djr, Danny is likely enjoying time with his family, watching the Arsenal, or playing golf

Meet Emma Louise Sinclair, our Office and Compliance Manager at djr. With a background in financial operations and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, she’s all about making sure things stay organised and compliant. From financial reporting to streamlining back-office functions, Emma’s got it covered.

She’s worked in both corporate and startup environments and has a superb ability to simplify complex projects. Our resident South African keeps things efficient, which makes her a vital part of the djr team.

Outside of work, Emma loves travelling, horse riding, socialising and painting – when she’s not spending time with her pup, Bowie!

Joe Wastie heads up our contract division at djr, having taken the reins at the start of 2023. Since taking the recruitment world by storm, he’s worked with numerous companies in retail, e-commerce and beyond – from insurance to large-scale systems integration projects. Thanks to great recommendations, Joe’s quickly built a reputation for delivering fast, effective solutions.

Specialising in Software Engineering, Joe’s the guy you want when there’s an urgent contractor needed – he’s all about scaling teams, keeping projects on track and budgets intact. Joe has also built significant relationships with numerous VC and PE firms to help scale their tech business portfolios.

When he’s not working his recruitment magic, Joe’s likely playing rugby, planning his next holiday, or out socialising with friends. And if Newcastle are playing football, you know where to find him!

Daniel Whiteman heads up our permanent division here at djr. Dan’s the go-to guy when it comes to finding world class Software Engineering talent for the tech sector. He knows how to connect the right people with the right opportunities.

Dan’s all about understanding what drives candidates and making sure their goals match up with what our clients need. He’s got a knack for making the whole recruitment process smooth and stress-free.

When Dan’s not busy shaping careers, you’ll find him either at the cinema (he’s a massive movie buff), enjoying some live music at a festival, or walking his dog. Oh, and he’s also into acting (and has starred in numerous TV shows), as well as loving his boxing – so he’s a man of many talents!
