Project Manager (Salesforce Change)

£400/day - Outside IR35 - Remote - 3 to 6 months

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Salesforce and change delivery experience to take ownership of a business-critical initiative within a fast-paced environment.

This role carries immediate priority and will play a key part in stabilising a complex Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation, alongside supporting wider portfolio activity across operations and technology.

This is not a steady-state coordination role, you will be stepping into a live environment where structure, stakeholder management and delivery control are essential from day one.

The Immediate Focus

A complex Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation requires urgent stabilisation and structured change leadership.

You will be responsible for:

• Stabilising an in-flight Marketing Cloud programme
• Reducing stakeholder escalation through proactive communication and governance
• Protecting delivery timelines and restoring confidence across business units
• Preventing further team burnout by introducing clarity, ownership and structure

The successful contractor must be able to assess the current state quickly, introduce control, and drive momentum within the first few weeks.

Core Responsibilities

Lead & Stabilise Critical Projects

Take ownership of an existing Salesforce Marketing Cloud programme and ensure delivery milestones are met.

Change & Stakeholder Management

Work closely with marketing, operations, technology and Centres of Excellence (HR, Finance, Procurement, Facilities) to align expectations and drive engagement.

Delivery Governance

Implement clear workstream ownership, reporting cadence, RAID management and escalation processes.

Portfolio Support

Oversee additional small to medium-sized initiatives, ensuring alignment to wider business objectives.

Problem Resolution

Identify blockers early, manage dependencies and escalate appropriately to avoid timeline risk.

• Proven experience delivering Salesforce programmes (Marketing Cloud experience highly desirable)
• Strong change management capability within cross-functional environments
• Experience stabilising projects mid-flight
• Comfortable managing stakeholder escalation and complex business dynamics
• Proactive, delivery-focused and resilient under pressure
• Able to bring structure, clarity and control quickly

• Fully remote (with occasional travel to Manchester)
