Contract Project Manager – SaaS | £550/day | Outside IR35 | Hybrid – Manchester / Leeds (Local Candidates Only)

We're hiring for a Project Manager with proven experience in SaaS businesses to support high-impact change and delivery projects for a leading software company. This role is not for generalists — we’re looking for someone who understands the pace, complexity, and cross-functional nature of scaling SaaS environments.

You must be based within commuting distance of Manchester or Leeds.

The Role
You’ll be central to the successful delivery of several business-critical initiatives across either the Wholesale or Retail portfolio. These could include CRM or Data Platform implementations, organisational design, or process improvement – all requiring smart planning, confident leadership, and strong SaaS awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Scope, plan, and manage end-to-end delivery across multiple initiatives.

• Work closely with leadership, operations, product & engineering, and transformation teams to align delivery with business goals.

• Own project documentation including detailed plans, steering decks, and RAID logs.

• Drive outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement, change management, and a structured, analytical approach.

What We’re Looking For

• SaaS experience is essential – you’ve delivered business or system change projects in fast-paced software businesses and understand how they work.

• A confident and capable stakeholder manager, able to align multiple teams around common objectives.

• Background in system implementations, business change, and process improvement projects.

• Strong analytical mindset with a hands-on approach to delivery.

• Duration: 3–6 months (initial)

• Location: Hybrid, with regular travel to Manchester and/or Leeds
