With multiple Lead .NET Developer roles available across the business, we're seeking individuals who are eager to make a difference. Situated within Enterprise Technology, Product Engineering, this team is responsible for crafting high-quality software products for customers across all of Europe.

 

The Role:

As a Lead .NET Developer, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining their product suite. You will lead a small team of skilled developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the technical vision for their products. This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while remaining hands-on in coding and ensuring the delivery of game-changing solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers.
  • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to define and implement the technical roadmap.
  • Lead by example through hands-on coding, reviewing, and debugging.
  • Architect and implement scalable solutions using .NET technologies within the Azure cloud environment.
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster their professional growth.
  • Coordinate with product and delivery teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Stay updated on the latest Cloud technologies and trends.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience leading a team of developers in an agile environment.
  • Proficiency in .NET Framework and .NET Core with C#.
  • Strong knowledge of MVC, Entity Framework, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, jQuery, Angular, React JS, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with SQL Server and Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of SignalR, RabbitMQ, Agile Scrum, Azure Services, and SOLR is advantageous.

 

Location:

This role offers a hybrid work model, with the need to work Manchester one day a week.
