Junior Test Engineer - €325/day - Remote 

A great opportunity for a Junior Test Engineer to join a forward-thinking project developing AI-enabled systems and automated workflows. Working alongside engineering and product teams, you will support the creation, execution and documentation of automated and manual tests across several workstreams. Fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Support test planning, test execution and results documentation.

• Assist in creating automated test scripts within modern frameworks.

• Contribute to end-to-end functional testing, agent interaction testing and workflow validation.

• Execute contract tests and report defects clearly in Jira.

• Work with engineers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.

• Maintain test cases, contribute to regression cycles and help improve testing processes.

• Participate in product and design reviews, offering input on usability and functionality.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).

• Some exposure to test automation or software testing principles.

• Familiarity with at least one framework such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright.

• Basic programming skills in Python, Java or TypeScript.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools.

• Awareness of API testing and modern QA practices.

• Willingness to learn cloud technologies and containerisation tools.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to AWS, Azure or cloud-based testing environments.

• Understanding of contract testing or performance testing fundamentals.

• Experience with Jira/Confluence.

• Interest in AI-powered testing tools and modern automation methods.
