Job Opportunity: Systems/ Applications Lead

Location: Chelmsford, UK (On-site, 5 days a week – DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CAN’T TRAVEL TO CHELMSFORD EVERYDAY)

We're hiring a Systems Lead with a strong focus on business application expertise to join our client's esteemed IT team. The role involves hands-on optimisation of IT systems, prioritising seamless business application experiences.

Key Requirements:

1. Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in corporate infrastructure management.
• Expertise in Windows Server 2012 RDS, Microsoft Office, and Active Directory.
• Experience in supporting Apple products and familiarity with Azure services.
2. Business Application Focus:
• Strong background in business application optimisation.
• Knowledge of VOIP systems, Zendesk Service Desk software, and seamless integration of new user systems with business applications.
• Ability to identify and address IT security vulnerabilities related to business applications.
3. Leadership and Collaboration:
• Leadership experience, especially in guiding technical support staff in business application support.
• Previous experience in a financial organisation is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework is a plus.
4. Communication and Organisation:
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to build positive working relationships.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to excel in a deadline-driven environment.
