We’re hiring a visionary Head of Technology to shape the future of a fast-growing automotive ecommerce business that’s transforming how vehicle brands connect with customers online.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll own the full tech strategy – from robust ecommerce platforms and AI-led tools to logistics systems and data ops. Shopify will be a key part of your world, so a strong grasp of the platform’s capabilities, ecosystem, and limitations is essential.

You’ll build and lead world-class teams, scale infrastructure, and drive innovation that delivers real commercial results.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Set the Tech Strategy: Define and deliver a roadmap aligned with business growth and customer experience.

• Own Ecommerce Infrastructure: Lead the development of high-performing Shopify-based platforms, integrations, and user journeys.

• Champion AI & Automation: Identify opportunities to embed AI across workflows and customer touchpoints.

• Lead & Grow Teams: Hire, coach, and scale high-performing teams across engineering, DevOps, data and support.

• Deliver Commercial Impact: Align technology with sales, logistics, and customer success outcomes.

• Build for Scale & Security: Ensure infrastructure is resilient, efficient, and ready for growth.

• Run a High-Performance Helpdesk: Own platform stability and internal tech operations.

• Own Data & Metrics: Optimise product content, reporting, and analytics to drive system and business performance.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally in ecommerce, logistics, or a fast-scaling digital business.

• Deep Shopify expertise – you understand the platform inside-out, from front-end UX to third-party integrations and customisation.

• Strong technical background across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), APIs, infrastructure, and data systems.

• Delivered AI and automation in live environments, with an eye for what’s next.

• Commercial mindset – able to turn tech into a competitive advantage.

• Excellent communicator and collaborator – calm under pressure, fast to deliver.
